The song named Buffalo boy’s flute was created by Luting He in 1934. The structure of the melody is simple, since it’s a typical three-stage form. Also, this is the first piano piece with overt and mature Chinese characteristics, which depicts a Chinese idyllic picture completed different to the Western ones.
