国際教育教員研修会第７回In this year’s Roundtable Discussion, rst we divided the members into four groups. In the group discussion we prepared four themes. After that group discussion we had mainstream discussion. Many Chuo teachers took part in this discussion.フォーラムの期間中に国際教育教員研修会が開かれた。2016年度は16の国と地域の教員が参加し、「学校としてどのような教育理念を持っているか」、「理想の教育方法は」、「教員の社会的地位は」、「学校としての現在の問題があるか」 をテーマに４分科会が開かれ、さらに全体会を行った。本校の教員も数多く参加し、今まで以上に白熱した意見交換の会となった。This year again, we had a roundtable discussion where teachers from around the world could discuss educational matters. First, the teachers divided into groups and discussed their topic, and then everyone got together in the same room and each group presented their ideas. The topics for each group were: Topic 1: Your Education Philosophy, Topic 2: How to Best Educate Students, Topic 3: Teachers’ Status in Society, and Topic 4: Current issues and problems at your school, and possible solutions. Each group was made up of 2~3 teachers from overseas, 1~2 English teachers from Chuo, and 5~6 other teachers from Chuo.After the group discussion, everyone gathered in the same room and gave presentations using Power point and Word. ere were a variety of opinions as the participants were from dierent countries with dierent cultures. e teachers who listened to the presentations looked surprised and happy as they heard from the presenters about other ways of thinking about the issues.Principal Randell from New Zealand gave the closing speech. I was happy the hear some of the participants say that they wish they had had more time to talk about the issues. I would like to spend more time preparing next time to make the roundtable discussion even better. I would like to thank all of the teachers from our sister schools, our English teachers who interpreted into Japanese, and all of the other teachers who participated in the roundtable discussion.is group contains NZ, Finland, Argentina, Senegal and Japan. Each county stated as follows,NZ- Teachers ’ salary is not keeping up with inflation 　今年度もフォーラム期間中に、世界各国から来ていただいた先生方と意見交換、交流の場を持つことができた。今回も昨年同様に、最初は分科会に分かれて話し合い、その後まとめとして全体会での発表を行った。分科会でのトピックスは、第１グループが「学校としてどのような教育理念を持っているか」、第２グループが「理想の教育方法は」、第３グループが「教員の社会的地位は」、第４グループは「学校としての現在の問題があるか」であった。各グループには海外からの教員が２～３人と本校の英語科の教員が１〜２名英語課以外の本校教員が５〜６名で構成された。　分科会が終わり、全員が一つの教室に顔を合わせた。各グループで限られた時間の中でパワーポイントやワードで資料を作成し、プレゼンが行われた。どのテーマにおいても国によって背景となる文化が異なるため、全く同じ意見は出てこない。参加者は各国の意見が紹介されるたびに、「なるほど、そういう考え方もあるのか」「そこがポイントになるのか」というようなことを感じ、驚きや納得の表情を浮かべ、他のグループからの発表に聞き入った。　最後には、もはや名物となったニュージーランドのランドル校長からのまとめを聞き、終了した。参加者からは、もっと時間があればさらに話ができたのにという、うれしい意見も聞かれた。次回は準備にさらに時間を費やしより密度の濃いものにしていきたい。参加していただいた姉妹校の教員各位、英語から日本語へのアシストをしてもらった本校英語科教員、また分科会から全大会まで参加した、すべての教職員に感謝します。第3グループ　教員の社会的地位について　このグループには、ニュージーランド、フィンランド、アルゼンチン、セネガルの先生方が参加した。NZの先生がリーダーとなり会を進行した。各国から次のような意見が出た。熊倉　秀紀 Hideki Kumakura : Teacher全体会と分科会の発表Roundtable DiscussionEXCELSIOR vol.1853
