齊藤　綾子 Ayako Saito : Teacherスマートフォンを、よりスマートにWe must be smarter than smartphones We talked about “Current issues and problems at your school, and possible solutions” in our group. I felt it is signicant topic that we should think about in each school all over the world. Most of the discussion was smartphones. Even though high school students are not allowed to use smartphones during classes in school, many students try to sneak to use it. On the other hand, smartphones give students some benets to check some information in a class. Therefore, teachers should be aware of the advantages and disadvantages for students to use smartphones.　私たちの分科会のテーマは「Current issues and problems at your school, and possible solutions（学校として現在抱えている問題がありますか、またその解決策は）」でした。　まず第一に、この情報化社会ではやはり、高校生のスマートフォンの使用に関して話題が上がりました。どの国でもスマートフォンの規制については校則として提示しており、厳しい学校だと、学校への持ち込みを禁止したり、毎朝、回収するなどの処置を取ったりしているようです。しかし、授業中など禁止されている時間に使用するという問題も起こっています。また、インターネット上での書き込みによるいじめの問題も起こっているというのも日本と同様のようです。解決策としては必要がない場合の使用についてしっかりと指導して我慢させることや、逆にスマートフォンやタブレットを活用した授業を展開することです。また、その際にスマートフォンの使用の仕方をきちんと指導することなどが挙げられました。大切な学習のツールとして活用し、より効果的な学習方法として取り入れるべきだと思います。　また、以前に比べて保護者の関与がより多くなってきているという傾向があり、中国の姉妹校では、頻繁に保護者が授業参観に来るという熱心ぶりだといいます。こちらの高校では、独自のシステムで対応しているようです。　ほとんどの学校が同じような問題を抱えていますが、タブレットを活用してのＩＴ化というのも本校でも取り入れるとさらに発展的な学習が出来そうだと思いました。environmental problems using active learning. At Taylor’s International School in Malaysia, teachers are helping students expand their abilities in various fields – society, culture, politics, economics, and technology. Chang Jung Senior High School in Taiwan has various educational programs, and they use a variety of teaching materials. Teachers there place more emphasis on the students’ attitude towards learning than on their test results. At Morioka Chuo High School, students are doing agricultural eldwork and learning how to be future global leaders. e students did not reach a conclusion about the issue, but teachers should try to motivate students to study. Everyone agreed that it is important to encourage students to study by themselves and to be active in society.アクティブラーニングでは環境問題に取り組んでいます。マレーシアのテイラーズ・インターナショナル・スクールでは、社会・文化・政治・経済・技術といった様々な面から生徒の能力を伸ばす教育をしています。台湾の長榮高級中學では、多様なプログラムがあり、様々な教材を使って指導しています。学習成績よりも学習態度を重視しています。盛岡中央高等学校では、生徒は地元岩手の第１次産業を考えるフィールドワークや将来のグローバルリーダーを育成する教育を行っています。　討論は大いに盛り上がり、結論を出すまでには至りませんでしたが、教員は生徒のやる気を引き出す工夫をするべきである。生徒には多様な学習を受ける機会、主体性持たせる学習・体験的で社会的な活動が大切であるという２点は全員が意見が一致しました。EXCELSIOR vol.1755
