ベトナム人生徒２人と交流英語力を高めたいStudents from Vietnam Visited my ClassStudents from Australia Visited my Class１年Ｚ１組 菅田　春樹Haruki Sugata : student１年SZ組 吉田　百花Momoka Yoshida : studente students from Vietnam who came to our class spoke with us in English. English is the world’s common language, and we were amazed that they were uent in it.Two students from Vietnam came to our class. All of the Chuo students in our class wanted to become friends with the students from Vietnam. However, when they came to our classroom, we got nervous, and things did not go as expected. e students from Vietnam asked us more questions than we asked them, and they gave some of us badges.This was our first time to have students from abroad in our classroom, so I felt bewildered some of the time. I want to look out at the world more, to build stronger friendships, and to contribute to the world.This was the first time students from abroad came to our class, and I was nervous because I did not know what to expect. However, I had fun communicating with the students from overseas, and I felt happy when they understood me.We played bingo in class with the students from Australia. I was not able to be very outgoing, but the Australian students were friendly, and not shy, when they talked with me. I envied this. I was very happy when they laughed at my jokes and talked with me.I learned from this experience how to really communicate how I feel. I want to improve my English and become more condent, so that I can interact more with people from other countries.　我々のクラス、１Z1組に訪問してきたのはベトナム人、しかし使用している言語は英語。英語が全世界の共通語だとはいえ、ネイティブにも劣らない流暢さに私達は魅了されました。　私達のクラスには、ベトナム人生徒２人がやってきました。みんな最初は外国人生徒と仲良くなりたいなど、思っていたことは個々様々でした。ところがいざHRビジットが始まると、緊張しているのか思うようにはいかないようでした。私達よりも外国人生徒のほうが質問などをたくさんしてきて、おまけに記念バッジのお土産を貰った生徒もいたりと、得をした人もいました。　今回は初めてで戸惑うこともありました。もっと世界に目を向け、より良い友好関係を築き、今後の発展に貢献していきたいです。　今回のHRビジットは初めてということもあり、あまりイメージが持てなく不安なところもありましたが、外国の方とコミュニケーションを交わす楽しさや、自分の気持ちが通じた時の喜びを実感することが出来ました。　私達のクラスにはオーストラリアの生徒さんが来て、一緒にビンゴをしました。私はあまり積極的な態度をとることが出来ませんでしたが、オーストラリアの方々は私とは反対にとても積極的で恥ずかしがることなく行動して、少し憧れを持ちました。笑ってくれたり、話しかけてくれたり、とてもうれしかったことを覚えています。　この機会を通して、自分の気持ちはしっかりと伝わってくれるということを学びました。英語力を高めて、自信を持って外国の方とも交流していきたいです。EXCELSIOR vol.1757
