　日本滞在中に、凝縮された中身の濃いイベントを経験でき、2016年フォーラムの参加は幸運であったと感じます。滞在中の私のハイライトは、フォーラムの当日の生徒たちのプレゼンテーションです。　もちろん、参加国による伝統芸能の披露も心から楽しみました。伝統舞踊、音楽の披露、詩の朗読、演劇などすべてが色濃く、感銘を受け、心温まるものでした。テーマ研究は、生徒たちのチームワークの賜物で言葉もありません。世界各国から10代の若者が集まり、短い時間で地球上の深刻な問題について、質の高いプレゼンテーションをまとめ上げたのも団結力の結果です。将来が明るくなるような安堵感が残りました。　私たちは、このフォーラムで次世代のリーダーたちが大切な関係を築き上げ、この団結した絆を繁栄、発展させていくことが大事だと考えます。今後も世界各国の姉妹校と留学や訪問を通して交流していけることを期待しております。My stay in Japan was concentrated and eventful and I feel very fortunate that I got to experience part of the 2016 Morioka Chuo International Forum. e highlight of my trip was denitely the last ocial day of the Forum, the students’ team presentations.Of course, I thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful cultural presentations from the many countries that were attending. e traditional dances, musical performances, poetry readings and theatrical showings were indeed colourful, impressive and heartwarming. However, it was the outcome of the students’ research and team work that left me speechless. e fact that teenagers from around the world could come together in such a short time and consolidate their work into these quality presentations, which reected realistic and relevant concerns for our world, leaves me with great hopes for our future. We are creating important relationships among the leaders of tomorrow through the Morioka Chuo International Forum, and it is crucial that we keep these links and working relationships thriving and evolving. I look forward to further exchanges and working visits from our around the world partners.　盛岡滞在中、たくさんの良い経験と、すばらしい学習の機会をいただきました。なかでも最も心に残ったのは、教員宅へのホームビジットのご招待でした。　私とフランスのシビル先生と一緒に夕食に訪れたご家庭は「大当たり」でした。体育の先生の及川満洋先生の家にご招待いただきましたが、そこで素敵な奥様のゆうこさんと可愛いイレンとメアリーにお会いしました。その晩は、すばらしい家庭を知るだけではなく、私たち家族へのお土産を買うチャンスもあり、そして、ゆうこさんとお嬢さんが作ったおいしいお寿司をごちそうにI had many truly great experiences and wonderful learning opportunities while in Morioka, but the moment I enjoyed the most was denitely the host family dinner we were invited to, at a teacher’s home. I was paired with my French counterpart for that evening out and we truly hit gold in terms of host families!
