　日本に到着したときに、日本はまったく違う国だと感じました。気候は暑く、湿気が高く、見るものすべてがフィンランドのものよりカラフルに見えました。私はホストファミリーと、そして一緒に過ごす生徒たちと会いました。その後、都会の環境に適するようにデザインされた車の窓から見る建物や自然に気がつきました。私のホストスチューデントはユウタです。彼は私が出会った人の中で一番のピアニストです。彼はフレンドリーで、家族も親切で、お父さん、お母さん、姉妹がいました。家は大きく、フィンランドの家とは違いました。日本食を食べたことは一番の思い出です。味付けもよく、新鮮でおいしかったです。ガソリンステーションでさえおいしいものがありました。気づいたのですが、日本人は抹茶味が好きです。私も大好きです。すべてに抹茶は合います。日本文化を知ることができたことは素晴らしい経験となりました。みんないつも忙しいのに、礼儀正しいです。新旧がうまく融合しているようにも感じました。日本への旅は、人生で何度もあるものではありません。フィンランドでホストファミリーとして中央高校のみんなを受け入れられることを光栄に思っています。まだこの経験が続いていくようです。The moment I arrived to Japan with the others I noticed that Japan was a very different place. Weather was hot and humid and everything was more brightly coloured than in Finland. I then met the host family and the other student who I would be living with. After that I noticed the way of building and the nature while going around in a car designed to cope with the tight urban environment. My host students name was Yuta. He is easily the best piano player I have ever seen. His extremely friendly and hospitable family consisted of him, his mother, father and his sister. e host family's house was fairly spacious and very dierent from houses in Finland. Food was easily one of my favourite things in Japan. It was well spiced, fresh and very tasty. Even the food in gas stops was very good. I noticed that Japanese people like "matcha" flavour a lot. I loved it. It just worked with everything. Getting to know the Japanese culture was an awesome experience. Even though people were busy they were always polite. e old and the new is fused in a very unique way and could be seen everywhere. The trip to Japan was a once in a lifetime experience. I even have the pleasure to host my host student in Finland so the experience is still ongoing!　18回のフォーラムは素晴らしいイベントでした。そしてこのイベントに携わってくださった皆様にお礼を申し上げます。1週間の間に様々な企画がありましたが、課外学習もその一つです。　新エネルギーグループで、グリーンツーリズムを行っている葛巻町を訪れました。たくさんの種類の代替エネルギーを展示していたので、新エネルギーチームには勉強になる場所でした。その日はずっとすごい雨が降っていました。幸いにもバス移動ですし、傘もあったので濡れずに済みました。　施設の方によるプレゼンがありましたが、日本語でしたのでThe 18th CHUO International Education Forum was an amazing event and I want to say thank you for everyone who made this possible. During the week we had dierent activities one of which was one day study trip. I belonged to the renewable energy group and we went to Kuzumaki town, a place for green tourism. There are displayed different ways to produce renewable energy, so the place was good for the topic of our group. The weather was very rainy and during the trip it rained all the time.
