moved from between places by bus and also most of us had an umbrella so we didn´t get wet.At first we listed to presentation which told about the Kuzumaki, but the presentation was given only in Japanese so I didn´t understand much of it. After the presentation we went to watch wood burning powerplant which was interesting. We went also to a bioenergy production plant and we were told something about it. We saw wind power generators and we had possibility to touch a wing of a generator. In my opinion maybe the most interesting attraction in Kuzumaki was the ecological house which we visited. It was a model house where all its energy was produced in the house in renewable ways. For example the roof had solar panels, windows were small so that only very little energy was wasted etc. It would be great if that kind of houses were built more. Overall the study trip was interesting and educational although the weather wasn´t so great. It is my great honor to have the opportunity to participate The 18th CHUO International Education Forum. I especially enjoyed the round table discussion and sightseeing. In the round table discussion, I was assigned to the group of “How to best educate students”. Via the discussion, I knew that Russian teachers’ teaching methods are (1) Student–instructor contact, (2) Cooperation among students, (3)Active learning, (4)Prompt feedback, (5)Time management, (6)High expectations, and (7)Respect diverse talents and ways of learning, they especially focus on create student’s curiosity. In Malaysia, they concentrate on character building, therefore, they would teach students via 6 dimensions such as learning, social, cultural, economic, political, and technology. For Vietnam, they believe that a good teacher would have good teaching skills and they should offer students good facilities. This was a special experience for me to learn various teaching methods. We also went to a national park to explore the beauty of nature, and it really surprised me that the view in the national park was almost the same in Taroko National Park, one of Chang Jung Senior High School, Taiwan台湾 長榮髙級中學梁 馨予 Hsin - Yu Liang / 英語教員 English Teacher 教育方法について語り合うI especially enjoyed the round table discussion and sightseeingEXCELSIOR vol.1871
