姉妹校研修姉妹校研修Goodwill Visits to Sister Schools RUSSIA新しい言語を学んで〜ウラジオストクLearning a New LanguageI went with three students to the International Linguistic School in Vladivostok, Russia for eight days in October of 2016. This school has been designated as an International Baccalaureate school, and we participated in an event called International Day. Our students danced the “Soran bushi” dance at this event. We studied Russian every day, and used words like Спасибо(thank you) Хорошо(It’s OK). It was good for the students to learn another foreign language in addition to English. ere were many things that I did not know about Russia before going there, but Principal Olga and all of the teachers and students warmly welcomed us and showed us around their school. ank you. 　平成28年10月11日（火）〜18日（火）の８日間、ロシアのウラジオストクにある、国際言語学校を訪問して参りました。派遣生徒は２Z２小笠原篤也、１Ｚ１髙橋雪大、１Ａ２浅沼陽の３名でした。国際バカロレア校に認定されており、現地では、インターナショナルデイというイベントに参加させていただきました。そこで本校の生徒たちはソーラン節を披露しました。現地では毎日ロシア語を学び、日本でも耳にする、Спасибо（スパシィーバ・ありがとう）やХорошо（ハラショー・大丈夫です）なども実際に使うことができて感動しました。これから英語を共通の言語として世界の人々と意思疎通をしていかなければならない時代に、さらにその他の新しい言語を学ぶことができたことは生徒たちにも大きな影響を与えたと思います。派遣前はロシアについて分からないことが多かったのですが、日本との交流の跡も現地で案内して頂くなど、我々に非常に友好的に接してくださったオルガ校長先生をはじめとする先生方や生徒の皆さんに感謝申し上げたいと思います。教諭　齊藤　綾子Ayako Saito : Teacherロシア・現地で分かったことWhat I Learned in RussiaI went to Vladivostok, Russia in October. Russia seems to be a faraway country, but Vladivostok is on the Sea of Japan, and you can get there in two and a half hours.I went there to study about Russian architecture. I learned that Russian Orthodox churches use the shape of a candle as a motif. e roofs of Russian Orthodox churches are shaped like onions and are painted in bright colors. is represents the ame of a candle, and it symbolizes that people’s prayers go up to God. I thought that there was not much exchange between Japan and Russia – even though they are close – but I realized that there is a lot of trade and exchange between the two countries when I saw many old Japanese cars on the streets, a bridge that was constructed with Japanese aid, and the exact same drinks as in Japan in vending machines. I hope that there will be more exchange and trade between the two countries in the future.　私は10月にロシアのウラジオストクに行ってきました。ロシアと聞くと遠いイメージがあると思いますが、ウラジオストクは日本海に面しているので日本から約２時間半で行くことができます。　私はロシア建築をテーマにして現地へ行って調べてきました。現地に行って分かったことは、ロシア正教の教会はろうそくをモチーフにしているということです。ロシア正教の教会の屋根は玉ねぎのような形をしていて、派手な色が用いられています。これはろうそくの炎を表現していて、人々の願いが神様に届くようにという意味が込められています。　日本とロシアは近い割には交流がないなと感じていましたが、実際に行ってみると日本の中古車がたくさん走っていたり、日本が支援して造られた橋があったり、日本と全く同じ飲み物が自動販売機で売られていたりと、交流や貿易がちゃんと行われていることが分かりました。今後、さらに交流や貿易が盛んに行われることを願っています。２年Z2組　小笠原　篤也Atsuya Ogasawara : StudentEXCELSIOR vol.1890
