ノルウェーの子育て支援Child Support in NorwayI went to Oslo, Norway to study about childcare there. Norway was ranked number 1 in a 2016 ranking of countries which are supportive of mothers, and it is famous for its child support system. I was surprised to hear, on our visit to the Japanese Embassy, that there are enough day-care centers for all children in Norway. Nordic countries are famous for their public welfare systems - which are paid for by high taxes - but I did not think that there would be enough day-care centers for all children there. Japan has been working to create more child-care centers, but there were 8466 children who could not go to child-care centers just in Tokyo in 2016. If there were as many child-care centers in Japan as in Norway, we could improve the situation in Japan where people are not having enough children and there are many old people.is was the rst time Chuo students had gone to our sister school in Norway, and we went to a Japanese language class and talked with the students there in English and Japanese. I was surprised that there were many people my age there who were interested in Japan. We played cards together, and I remember how happy the students were when we gave them Japanese “happi” jackets. I want to make use of what I experienced on this trip not just in my future studies, but also in my life. I am grateful to all of the people I met on this trip. ank you for this wonderful opportunity.　今回、私は「子育て支援」をテーマとし、ノルウェーの首都であるオスロへ姉妹校派遣に行ってきました。ノルウェーは、2016年の「お母さんに優しい国ランキング」の第１位をとっており、手厚い支援があることで有名です。特に印象に残ったのは、日本大使館を訪問したときに聞いた「待機児童ゼロ」の話です。税率が高い代わりに支援が充実していることで北欧は有名ですが、まさか待機児童がゼロだとは思っていませんでした。日本でもさまざまな支援制度が始まりましたが、首都である東京都の待機児童数は2016年で8,466人もいるのが現状です。ノルウェーくらい日本の支援制度が充実していれば、少子高齢化問題も改善に向かうのではないのかと思うのですが、なかなか難しいのも事実だと思いました。　訪問した姉妹校は、盛岡中央高校からは今回が初の訪問で、日本語クラスに参加して、英語や日本語での交流をしてきました。日本に興味をもってくれている同年代の人がたくさんいることに驚きました。トランプをして遊んだことや、はっぴをプレゼントしたときの喜ぶ顔が今でも忘れられません。今回経験したことを自分の進路だけでなく、これからの人生にも生かしていきたいと思います。お世話になった方々全員に感謝しています。このようなすばらしい機会を与えていただき、ありがとうございました。impressed by the innovative design of the Opera House, which looked like a glacier. There was a slope which went from the ground up to the roof, and we were able to view the city of Oslo from the roof. Seeing these buildings in person made me even more interested in other buildings around the world.At our sister school, Oslo Handelsgymnasium, we went to a Japanese language class and talked with students who are learning Japanese. e students there knew a lot about Japan, and we had fun together. In particular, many students knew a lot about Japanese anime and manga, and I was surprised that almost everyone already knew about the anime and manga I told them about.I became more interested in others countries as a result of this trip. At first, I was nervous about talking with people there, but after a while I started to have fun, and it was a very good experience. Thank you for this opportunity. I want to interact with more people from overseas in the future.とは全く違っていて、とても驚きました。オペラハウスは氷山の造形をした斬新なデザインになっていて、とても感動しました。また、地上から屋上へと続くスロープがあり、屋上からはオスロ市内を一望することができました。このような建築物に実際に触れ、今まで以上に世界の建築物に対する興味が強まりました。　また、姉妹校であるオスロ・ハンデルスギナシウム高校に訪問した際には日本語クラスに参加させていただき、現地の日本語を学んでいる生徒と交流することができました。現地の生徒は日本について詳しく、とても楽しく交流することができました。特に日本のアニメや漫画に詳しい生徒が多く、私が紹介した際にはほとんどの人がすでに知っていて驚きました。　今回の派遣を終えて、多くの面で海外に対する興味が広がりました。最初は現地の方と話すのにとても緊張していましたが、徐々に楽しく会話ができるようになり、とてもいい経験になりました。今回このような機会を頂き、ありがとうございました。この経験を生かし、さらに積極的に国際交流に臨んでいきたいです。１年Z1組　樋口　琢己Takumi Higuchi : StudentEXCELSIOR vol.1892
