Goodwill Visits to Sister Schools NORWAY自然を学んだ有意義な１週間ノルウェーの社会保障を学習Meaningful time to learn Nature in NorwayI learned the Social Security System１年B4組　小原　千波Chinami Obara : Student１年Z4組　宮野　果音Kanon Miyano : StudentI went on a sister school trip to Oslo Handelsgymnasium in Norway. The theme of the trip was “Nature”, and I had a meaningful time there. e sun rises late in Norway and sets early. In December, the sun rises around 9AM and sets around 3PM, which makes for a much shorter day than in Japan. 　今回、私はノルウェーの姉妹校派遣で、Oslo Handelsgymnasium（オスロ商業高校）を訪問してきました。私は「自然」をテーマとし、有意義な１週間を過ごすことができました。ノルウェーでは日の出が遅く、日没が早いです。大体の時間では、12月だと日の出が９時頃で、日本と比較すると、とても遅く、日の入りが15時という、I went to our sister school in Norway to learn about the public welfare system in Norway. Taxes in Norway are higher than in Japan, but people up to a certain age do not have to pay for medical care or school tuition. It seemed to me that people there were satised with this system. At our sister school, we went to Japanese language and math classes and interacted with the students there. The students in the Japanese class were interested in Japan and talked with us a lot in Japanese. I was surprised to see students in math class using computer software to make graphs and diagrams. Also, there did not seem to be any wall between the teachers and students, and everyone was very friendly.ere is a lot of nature in Oslo – where we stayed – and it felt kind of like Morioka. e days were short in winter, and it was cold all day. e temperature when we were there was about the same as in Morioka. I learned something new on this visit. I learned that there is a gap between Japan and the rest of the world. Japan is behind the rest of the world in terms of the academic ability of its students. Also, Japan should learn from Norway’s public welfare system, as its population ages rapidly. I want to use the broad vision that I gained on this trip as I try new things in life.ank you for this wonderful experience.　私は今回の姉妹校派遣でノルウェーの社会保障を個人テーマにし、現地の方々と交流を行ってきました。ノルウェーは税金が日本よりも高い分、ある一定の年齢までの医療費、学費ともに免除されます。そして、国民はこのことに対し、充実感をもって今ある生活に満足しているという印象を受けました。また、社会保障はもちろんですが、姉妹校での日本語授業や数学の授業に参加させてもらうことで現地の生徒とより多くの交流の場を設けてもらいました。日本語授業では多くの生徒が日本に興味を示し、積極的に私たちと日本語でのコニュケーションをとってくれました。数学の授業ではパソコンのソフトを使ってグラフや図を作成していることにとても驚きました。また、先生と生徒との壁がなく、とてもフレンドリーな印象を持ちました。　私たちが滞在したオスロ市内はとても自然が豊かで、どこか盛岡市と似ている雰囲気がありました。冬の日照時間はとても短く、一日の気候の変化があまりなく、寒かったです。滞在期間中の気候はほぼ盛岡市と同じでした。　私は今回姉妹校派遣に参加したことで新たに学んだことがあります。それは、私たちが思っている以上に日本と世界には差があるということです。学力においても日本は世界に劣っています。そして、超高齢化社会に向かっている日本はノルウェーの社会保障制度を見習うべきだと思います。　今後、自分自身が新たに挑戦するときには今回の派遣事業で学び、培った広い視野を持って、取り組んで行けるように頑張っていきたいです。　このような貴重な経験をさせてくれた方々に感謝してます。ありがとうございました。EXCELSIOR vol.1893
