more than a dull life. We should live to be happy and to make meaningful people around us happy as well, we should be passionate about life and our job election and most importantly we should pursue the purpose of life which gives us meaning in this life.　私たちが理想の学校を創るにあたり必要であると考えたポイントは、SDGｓの17の目標から教育の質の向上、男女平等、健康と福祉です。はじめに教育の質について話し合いをしました。今日、多くの国の生徒たちは共通事項を抱えています。生徒の多くはストレスを抱えており、興味のない、必ずしも仕事を得る上で有益であるとはいえないたくさんの授業を受け、楽しみな時間、好きなこと、自分たちの交友関係を犠牲にして学校教育を受けています。　生まれてから私たちの人生の目的は、のちの仕事を得るために勉強し、職を得たのち退職し、死ぬまでの時間を働いて過ごします。それだけでは面白くない生活です。そこで私たちの意見は、幸せで意味のある生活を自分も周りも含めて送りたい、そのために自分たちの生活と仕事の選択に情熱を燃やし、意味のある生活を追求することが最も大切であると考え、教育問題に目を向けました。 　　To help students fulfill all these objectives, we came up with a system in which students have the possibility to choose the subjects they want to try and further expand their knowledge in that field. As they progress the skill they need to master become more challenging and engaging, keeping up with the needs of the student and focusing more on what really interests them. A certain number of points are needed to pass the year and they are given out taking into account how important that skill is in the real world and the score they get. This system also encourages students to try many subjects and to work together in projects that help them improve their teamwork and solve real life problems by giving the extra points.　今の教育が与える無限の可能性は否定しませんが、より生徒の関心の高い科目を増やし、その分野における広い知識を深める科目を選択性にするシステムがあると、より学業が辛いだけのものではなくなるだろうと提案します。生徒が学び、ある技術や能力を身につけ、さらに研究するにつれて、生徒の興味関心の対象は絞られていき、研究分野も深くなっていきます。学期の単位を取得するためのある程度の数字は必要であり、評価の点数やどの程度社会で通用するかの点数化は考慮されなければなりません。生徒が多くの科目を超えてチームで問題解決する能力や現実問題の解決に取り組む能力を伸ばすことができることも選択制科目の魅力です。　　Another aspect we want to touch on is the economical side of things. We see education as an investment and as a business. The goal of any business is to lower costs and to improve productivity and quality of product. In school the raw materials are students and reading material and the productive factors are teachers. We can save a lot of money on things like textbooks by buying things like e-books and projectors in bulk. By getting a big discount, the costs will be reduced and eventually after period of time this investment will pay out, leaving extra money for important things such as better teachers, better coaching and more opportunities for the students.　もう１つの私たちが取り組むべき課題として挙げたのは、経済活動における教育の質です。私たちは教育をビジネスとして、投資の対象とみなします。ビジネスの目標は低い費用で生産力を上げ、質の良いものを生み出すことです。学校では、原材料は生徒で、良い結果をもたらす要因は教師であり、教材、施設です。革新的な技術の導入により、高度で、最先端の機器の扱いや理論を学ぶことやプロジェクターやe-bookを使えば、教科書を購入する経費が大幅に削減できます。次世代を担う適応能力の高い、協調的で創造力のある学生を育てることに投資してもらう体制を整えることが大切です。　　　　Gender Equality: We want 5.GENDER EQUALITYジェンダー平等を実現しようProblem & Solution [No.5] 5のテーマについての問題点と解決策EXCELSIOR vol.2018
