In order to achieve this goal, the school has been teaching practical English skills and developing students’ intellectual curiosity.Classes with a native English speakerOST (Online Speaking Training)Activities to boost students’ English abilities■ネイティブ教員による授業週1回以上、ネイティブ教師による英会話授業を行います。「話す」「聞く」の技能アップに役立ちます。　■OST（オンラインスピーキングトレーニング）英語の授業にOSTをプラスすることで、普段の授業では確保しづらい一人ひとりの発話の機会を拡充できます。英会話力・プレゼンテーション力向上を行うことができます。　■ステップアップ英語研修OSTでの研修を含む1学期の学習の成果を発揮する機会として、1年次にはブリティッシュ・ヒルズ、セカンドステップとして、2年次にはTokyo Global Gateway へ行きます。３年次には中学英語学習の集大成として、カナダ研修旅行が待っています。段階を踏んだ研修で、英語力の向上をより実感できます。In order to put into practice what students have been learning during their rst semester of English education (which includes OST training), rst year students have the chance to go to “British Hills”. In their second year, they will go to “Tokyo Global Gateway”, and in their third year, as a grand nale of their studies, students will go to Canada. By a step-by-step method, students will be able to achieve English prociency.The addition of OST in English classes has enabled individual students to have more opportunities to speak English, a skill that is not practiced sufciently during regular classes.Students have English lessons with an English native speaker at least once a week, helping them to develop their skills in speaking and listening.EXCELSIOR vol.2056
