SGHアソシエイト校としての活動　本校のSGH-Aプログラムは『一次産業に革新をもたらすグローバルベンチャー人材の育成』をテーマとして、平成27年度から岩手県の地域特性を生かしたグローバルベンチャー人材の育成を目標に掲げ実施しています。　岩手県の人口は平成26年10月1日時点で128.4万人であり、1年間で11,000人減少しています。また、国立社会保障・人口問題研究所の日本の地域別将来推計人口（平成30（2018）年推計）によると、岩手県の人口は2045年度まで一貫して減少することが見込まれており、生産年齢人口の減少は県内経済の衰退とそれに起因する若者の更なる流出といった、県内の経済規模の縮小といった悪循環の原因となることが予想されます。　そこで本校においては、地域課題の克服と持続可能な地域の未来を創造するためのベンチャーマインド（チャレンジ精神・創造性・探究心）を育み、革新的な未来の創造に向けての行動力を備えたグローバルリーダーの育成を目標とするカリキュラムの研究開発を実施することとしました。　本校SGH-Aプログラムでは、平成27年度より株式会社トーマツベンチャーサポートの全面的な協力により、アクティブラーニングを取り入れた起業家教育のグループワークを実施しています。平成27年度のプログラムでは、教科横断的に多様な知識を組み合わせた生徒の主体的な学びの成果が見られ、通常の教科教育では得られない、ビジネスプランの作成という本プログラムの有効性と可能性を確認することができました。　平成28年度からは前年度の運営反省を踏まえ、1年次の総合的な学習の時間に「岩手学」を設定し、地域理解に関する課題研究を実施することで、2年次の地域課題の解決に向けたビジネスプランがより一層実社会に適した現実的なものになるように改善を行いました。　また、グローバルな舞台で活躍し、社会を牽引することのできるグローバルリーダーの育成の観点から、希望者をフィンランド、タイ（平成28年度-平成29年度）、ニュージーランド（平成29年度-平成30年度）への海外フィールドワークに派遣し、姉妹校生徒との協同学習を実施しました。これらの課題研究班は英語でのプレゼンテーションスキルやディスカッションスキルを養い、課題研究をより学術的なものへと深化させることに挑戦しています。（SGH担当　教諭　本間　崇朗）　　The theme of our school’s Super Global High School Associate (SGH-A) program is “educating students who can bring about revolutionary change in the agricultural industry”, and our goal is to raise future leaders in the field of agriculture in Iwate Prefecture.　　The population of Iwate as of October 1, 2014 was 1,284,000, and this number is decreasing by 11,000 people per year. In addition, according to Japan’s National Institute of Population and Social Research, Iwate’s population will continue to decrease until 2045, resulting in a decrease in the number of workers in Iwate and a deterioration in Iwate’s economy. They predict that this will cause an additional outflux of young people and a further decline in economic activity, resulting in a vicious cycle.　　In light of this situation, our school has developed a curriculum to produce future leaders who can bring about major changes. Specifically, we want our students to try new things, to be creative, and to investigate new ways of doing things, so that they can tackle regional problems and create a sustainable local community.　　Our school has received assistance for this program from Deloitte Tohmatsu Venture Support Co., Ltd. since 2015, and we are using active learning to raise up future entrepreneurs. Starting in this year, our students have been working across subjects and learning proactively in order to produce business plans. We feel that the program has produced good results, that it is effective, and that it has many possibilities. 　　In 2016, we improved the program by establishing a comprehensive program for first-year students to learn more about Iwate, so that the students will be able to make realistic business plans which are even more appropriate for the region when they are in the second year of high school.　　In addition, we send students to do field work – during which they study problems with students from our sister schools - in Finland and Thailand (2016-2017) and in New Zealand (2017-2018), so that they are able to be active on the global stage. Our goal is to further develop the program by having students give presentations in English and by having them develop their discussion skills, so that it is more academic.EXCELSIOR vol.20 ◆ CHUO国際教育フォーラム20回記念号85
