　　I heartily congratulate for the 20th anniversary of Morioka Chuo High School Study Abroad R Course and International Education Forum. I would like to express my deep appreciation and gratitude to everyone concerned who has been devoting much effort to the management over the long term of 20 years. Thank you so much for giving me an opportunity to write a contribution in this anniversary.　　"I want to become a bridge between Iwate and the world", the first opportunity that I began to think so was the second year of junior high school I traveled abroad for the first time. I went expedition to Portugal with a Japanese Drum team in my local hometown that I belonged to since elementary school. Although it was a short time, I felt a lot of stimulation through international exchanges with local people there, and I began thinking vaguely "I want to engage in overseas." A year later, my father recommended me Morioka Chuo High School study abroad course to career path. I still remember clearly that I asked for advancement without any hesitation.　　I went abroad to the town called Swan Hill which was about 350 km north from Melbourne, Australia. I have reached a plateau that I could not understand the English that the people around me were talking about for the first 3 months and I could not explain what I thought well until half a year passed. My host family has always been kind to me, sometimes strict, teaching me a local culture and life as well as English. Everything that I gained through irreplaceable and meaningful study abroad life has become my great wealth. Also, during my study abroad I was interested in differences in consumer behavior between overseas and Japan, so in order to study this field 　この度は、盛岡中央高校進学留学Ｒコース及び国際教育フォーラム20周年を迎えられたことを心よりお祝い申し上げます。　「岩手と世界をつなぐ架け橋になりたい」、私がそう思い始めたきっかけは、初めて海外に渡航した中学２年の時でした。小学３年から所属していた地元八幡平市の和太鼓チームでポルトガルに遠征しました。あっという間の時間でしたが、現地の方との海外交流を通して多くの刺激を感じ、漠然とではありますが「いつか海外と関わりたい」と思うようになりました。それから１年、進路を考えていた私に父が薦めてくれたのが、盛岡中央高校の留学コースでした。一切の迷いなく進学をお願いしたことを今でも鮮明に覚えています。　私はオーストラリア・メルボルンから350 kmほど北上したスワンヒルという街に留学しました。初めの３カ月は相手が話している英語が理解できず、半年間自分の思ったことが上手く説明できない、という大きな壁に直面しました。ホストファミリーはそんな私に対しいつも優しく、時に厳しく、英語はもちろん現地の文化や生活を教えてくれました。かけがえのない有意義な留学生活を通して得たものは全て私の大きな財産となっています。また、留学生活中に海外と日本の消費者行動の違いに興味を持つようになり、この分野をさらに深く勉強するため、商学部に絞り大学を受験しました。在学中はマーケティングゼミに所属し、食品・飲料製品の新しい広告戦略の立案や、その企業のマーケティング部の方々にプレゼンを行うなど、実践的かつ貴重な研究活動を多く経験することができました。また、卒業後はこの経験を生かし、東京にある広告会社で3年間広告営業に携わりました。　　「岩手と世界をつなぐ架け橋になりたい」、私は今、この想いの実現に向かっています。東京の会社を退職し、2016年3月盛岡に、岩手のものづくりBecome a bridge connecting Iwate and the worldYuki Katano9th graduate studying Resolution course / TOLIMS Corporation business development division general manager片野　友貴株式会社TOLIMS　事業開発部　統括マネージャー （進学留学コース9期生）岩手と世界を繋ぐ架け橋にVoice of graduates・卒業生の声EXCELSIOR vol.2094
