第21回CHUO国際教育フォーラムのテーマは、「地球規模で考え、地域に貢献しよう -the SDGsを活用し世界を変えよう-」です。 SDGsとは「Sustainable Development Goals（持続可能な開発目標）」の略称です。 2015年9月の国連総会で採択された[1]『我々の世界を変革する： 持続可能な開発のための2030アジェンダ』（Transforming our world:the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development）と題する成果文書で示された具体的行動指針です。指針は持続可能な世界を実現させるため17のゴール・169のターゲットから構成されています。 15の国と地域から参加する各国姉妹校生徒（約50名）とCHUOフォーラム実行委員生徒発表メンバー（20名）がこのテーマに基づき、2030年にむけての理想の学校像を語り合い、創り上げることを目標とします。The theme of the 21st CHUO International Education Forum is, “ Think globally act locally -Transforming our world using the SDGs”. We are aiming to create an image of ideal school in 2030 by gathering the ideas and opinions of 50 students from Chuo sister schools and 20 Forum committee members. Each participant is to think about the theme based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals and to share your opinions with others.What is the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (the 2030 Agenda) SDGs ?(1)The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (the 2030 Agenda) is a set of international development goals from 2016 to 2030, which was adopted by the UN Sustainable Development Summit held in September 2015 building on the success of Millennium Development Goals.(2)The 2030 Agenda listed “Sustainable Development Goals” consisting of 17 goals and 169 targets in order to eradicate poverty and realize a sustainable world.
