asking me to work, and my work and friends increased. It was a good opportunity to feel the importance of being active. After the SOPA, I told my friends and my host family, "I really wanted to perform more on stage." They said, "You are greedy." But after all, I was disappointed, and soon I started going to classical ballet classes. You have to be greedy at your study destination. I was greedy and had a good experience. A little courage is not enough. If you remain silent, you will return to Japan without any sense of accomplishment. SOPA is the most satisfying event for me.After SOPA, I didn't feel like doing anything. The event I had been aiming for at my study destination was over, and I had no idea what to do. It was really quick from that time to returning to Japan. There were several occasions where I interacted with students from other schools, and I made good friends there. I spent a fullling day traveling with my host family.5. A little courageI hated the words “Don't be shy”. When I told my host family that, they said, "No." I always answered that it wasn't the case, but I was happy with my heart. I was reassured that someone would watch if I acted with a little courage. My friends are very active. I immediately realized her splendor. She had a large connection, a high prole, and always seemed happy. It made me realize again the importance of being active. I strongly want to be aggressive, though not as good as her. Now, I am not afraid to hear “Don’t be shy” anymore, and I have no longer been told these words.6. My goalFinally, this study abroad was not just a language study abroad, and study abroad for intercultural exchange. Australia is a multicultural country. In fact, my Australians have very few friends. There were so many opportunities to experience cultures from countries other than Australia, and many cross-cultural exchanges were possible. I volunteered to spread Japanese culture, participated in events where cultural differences were felt, and listened to the stories of immigrants. I feel that my field of vision has expanded. I think that it is a type of growth that can only be done by those who went to study abroad, so I would like to look at the wide world so that I will not narrow my view again from now on.I think that my broad perspective and my knowledge of performing arts will be very useful in the future. I really want to perform on stage. My goal is to go to an art school. I'm going to learn to keep my English prociency.I am very grateful to my family, teachers, friends and everyone. There were a lot of things I didn't understand until I got went away. Thank you very much for the wonderful experience.1. KiaoraThis is a Maori greeting.Hello everyone. I stayed in New Zealand for a year to study English. Now I am going to talk about my experiences in New Zealand. I have a dream of building a school in a developing country and I want to think about the future of the school children who might attend it. 2 years ago we hosted a group called “Watoto” from an orphanage in Uganda. The children performed songs and dances about their charity. Even though they were poor and did not have many possessions, they were kind, happy, generous and grateful. This inspired me to do something to help them achieve their dreams of getting an education.2. NZ life My purpose was to improve my English skills and do charity and a club or something like that. Fortunately I had a chance to join the charity for Uganda. It is called “40 hour famine”. This is a 40 hour famine, so basically for 40 hours we have to give something up such as eating, technology, or something. Then, before the day we do it we go to people houses and ask them to sponsor us with money. After that, once we have completed our challenge we go back and get the money they sponsored us with. Then we donate the money to the 40 hour famine organization which then uses the money for people who are in need. This year they are sponsoring people living in Uganda.I decided to not use a phone and not eat food because we are wasting a lot of time when using our phones.'I have a dream'HonamiKamata鎌田穂奈美2年A2R組私の夢EXCELSIOR vol.2184
